Titles & Badges

Your ranked success shows in the game in two ways: the league badge on your nameplate and the titles added to your profile. They’re how everyone recognises you.

The title you choose is written on your nameplate, right above your name, in your league’s colour; Champion titles shine in flowing gold. The league badge sits at the end of your name line, after the faction icon. These are examples of the in-game nameplate:

Permanent season title + league badge
Live Champion title — flowing gold
Title for finishing a season as Grandmaster
Your league badge shows even without a title
  • The badge shows your highest league among the modes you’ve placed in this season. On the nameplate you see that league’s emblem and the mode (e.g. “1v1”) in the league colour; the division (e.g. “1v1 Diamond II”) is shown in the League badge row in Profile → Titles. Everyone can see your badge.
  • If leagues are equal, 1v1 is shown first, then 3v3.
  • When your league changes, the badge updates immediately.
  • No badge is shown if you aren’t placed in any mode, or during the season break.
  • The badge also works in Season 0.

Every league’s badge as it appears on the nameplate:

  • Iron
  • Copper
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Grandmaster
  • Champion

At the end of rewarded seasons (Season 1 onward), players who finish the season well get a permanent title.

  • Each mode is judged separately: you can earn titles from 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5 independently.
  • Requirements: having finished placement in that mode, played a minimum number of ranked matches, and ended the season above a certain league. The minimum match count and league are season settings; they’re shown in the “For a title” line of the Season tab and in the reward table.
  • The title follows your final league at season end, not the highest league you reached during the season.
  • Divisions don’t count: Diamond IV and Diamond I get the same title.
  • Title format: “S1 · 1v1 Diamond” (season · mode · league). The title text is drawn in the league’s colour.
  • Players who finish the season as Champion get that mode’s permanent “S1 · 1v1 Champion” title; it shines in flowing gold too.
  • Permanent titles are never taken back.
  • Banned accounts are left out of the standings and titles.
  • Titles arrive after the season ends and the final standings are calculated; you get a notification.
  • No titles are given in Season 0.

During a rewarded season, every day at UTC 00:00 the players who are Champion in a mode receive a live title: “1v1 Champion”, “3v3 Champion”, “5v5 Champion”.

  • If you drop out of the Champions, the title is removed at the next daily reset.
  • When the season ends, live titles are removed from everyone.
  • For how Champions are decided, see Leagues & LP.

Choose the titles you’ve earned in Profile → Titles. Arena titles are listed in their own Arena group with the league emblem; new titles you haven’t looked at yet carry a New tag. The preview at the top shows how the chosen title will sit on your nameplate. An example profile:

The title you pick appears next to your name. If a selected live title is removed, it’s cleared from your name too.

The game sends a notification when:

  • you earn a new title,
  • a live Champion title is given to you or removed,
  • the season is about to end and when it ends,
  • a new season begins,
  • decay is about to start while you’re at Master or above.

Note: The minimum match count and minimum league for a permanent title, and the number of Champions, can change with the season settings; the current rules are shown in the Season tab. The nameplate and profile visuals are examples; the names are made up.
