Antimatter Rush
Antimatter Rush is a limited-time event that multiplies the dropped by the Commander NPCs of Sector Y. While it is live, every Commander you destroy there yields far more Antimatter than usual — one of the best windows in the year to stock up on this premium resource.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Antimatter Rush runs as an occasional, timed event. When it starts, an in-game notification fires — e.g. “Antimatter Rush started! ×3 antimatter from Sector Y commander NPCs.”, announcing that run’s multiplier — and hunting Commanders in Sector Y becomes far more rewarding for as long as it lasts. Each run stays live for 12 hours.
The bonus applies to Antimatter only; the other ore and rewards those same NPCs drop are unchanged. It also applies only in open Sector Y — not inside Raid gates.
How to Join
Section titled “How to Join”There is no sign-up; all you have to do is hunt in Sector Y while Antimatter Rush is live:
- Fly to Sector Y in a high-tier ship (it’s a high-level, open combat zone).
- Find and destroy the Commander NPCs that roam the sector.
- Collect the cargo boxes they drop — the Antimatter goes straight to your account.
The bonus is automatic: while the event is live, every Commander you destroy in Sector Y yields boosted Antimatter with nothing extra to do.
Rewards
Section titled “Rewards”Each Commander in Sector Y drops a fixed amount of Antimatter when destroyed. During Antimatter Rush that amount is multiplied. The table below shows each Commander’s normal yield and its Antimatter payout range during the event (×2–×5):
The richest target is Commander Froston, which on its own pays out a sizeable amount of Antimatter during the event. For what is used for and how it’s spent, see the Currencies page; for these Commanders’ stats, see the NPCs page.
Multiplier
Section titled “Multiplier”During Antimatter Rush, the Antimatter from Sector Y’s Commanders is boosted by a multiplier. That multiplier is not fixed: it varies between ×2 and ×5, depending on the value the management team sets for that run. Whatever value is chosen, it is a single, flat one — there are no tiers or curves, and it applies equally to every Commander.
The exact multiplier for a given run is announced in-game when it starts. That is why the table above shows each Commander’s Antimatter payout as a ×2-to-×5 range.
Note: Values may change over time with game balancing.
