NYX

Nyxar

The NYX Invasion is a server-wide invasion event that runs from time to time. While it is live, alien waves attack one after another on dedicated NYX battlefields; pilots clear the waves together, collect multiplied rewards and face the event’s giant boss — the Nyxar — at the end of every cycle.

When the event starts, a global in-game notification fires — “Nyx Invasion has begun!” — and the entry gates open. A typical invasion lasts about 2 hours; you can watch the remaining time on the countdown in the Events panel.

The invasion is fought on two separate fronts, split by level:

NYX-LOW

Level 9–14
Entry portal
at the centre of the x-2 maps
Reward multiplier
×1.5
Waves
17
Enemies per cycle
796
Enemy strength
×0.5 hull, shield and damage

NYX-HIGH

Level 15+
Entry portal
at the centre of the x-5 maps
Reward multiplier
×3
Waves
18
Enemies per cycle
948

PvP is completely disabled on the NYX battlefields — everyone fights on the same side, against the invasion.

  1. When the announcement drops, fly to an entry gate: the NYX-LOW gate appears at the centre of each faction’s x-2 map, the NYX-HIGH gate at the centre of the x-5 map.
  2. Use the gate that matches your level: 9–14 enters NYX-LOW, 15 and above enters NYX-HIGH. Levelling up while inside never kicks you out.
  3. Entry stays open for the whole event: if you die, you respawn at your own faction base and can fly back to the gate and rejoin.
  4. Coming with a group speeds things up — group members are placed on the same battlefield whenever possible.

Enemies spawn in waves around the centre of the map. The rules are simple:

  • The next wave does not start until every enemy of the current wave (boss guards included) is destroyed.
  • If the final wave is cleared too, the invasion restarts from Wave 1 after a short announced break — you can run cycle after cycle for the whole event.
  • The Nyxar (and the Dreadforge Titan on NYX-HIGH) spawns with its guards and cannot be harmed while they live — clear the Nyxin (or the Dread Sentinels for the Titan) first.

On NYX-LOW, enemies spawn at half their base strength (hull/shield/damage ×0.5) — a front tuned for lower-level pilots.

Every kill reward inside NYX (Credits, Experience, Honor, Red Matter, Antimatter) is multiplied by the front’s reward multiplier: NYX-LOW ×1.5, NYX-HIGH ×3. The same multiplier also applies to ore collected from wrecks.

The event’s star rewards come from the bosses — the values below already include the multiplier:

When the Nyxar falls, every pilot who damaged it also earns 3–7 Mecha Tokens — rolled separately for each pilot, not split.

Nyxar and Nyxin rewards are not given to whoever lands the kill — they are split among everyone who dealt damage, in proportion to damage dealt.

  • For the base rewards of the regular wave enemies, see their cards on the NPCs page; what you earn in NYX is the card value multiplied by the front’s multiplier.
  • For what each currency does, see the Currencies page.
  • No rank points are earned inside NYX, and quest and daily-quest counters do not progress — the invasion is a pure reward hunt.

When the event timer runs out, the remaining enemies withdraw and an exit portal opens at the centre of the map. A countdown is shown on screen; if you don’t use the portal in time, you are automatically teleported to your own faction base. Everything you earned is credited instantly, so there is no risk of losing rewards — you can stay until the very end of the fight.

Note: Values may change over time with game balancing; the numbers on this page are the live values from the latest data refresh.
